The cosmopolitan city of New York is situated on the East Coast of the USA in a federal state that shares its name with the city. The most well-known landmark in New York is of course the statue of liberty. The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of freedom and independence. If you want to climb the statue, you can only go up 10 of the 22 levels with a lift and the rest must be done on foot.
