In an act of defensive sensibility during the 17th century, the island of Ibiza erected a number of tall towers in order to defend against attackers. A flagrant and foreboding fortress located proximately to Sant Antoni is Towers en Luc, a magnificent monument surrounded by dramatic cliffs.
