Hotel Sorobon Beach Resort (Kralendijk)

Sorobon Beach Resort on the quiet and tranquil Island of Bonaire, sits on one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in the Caribbean. The resort has a private beach with shaded cabannas and lounge chairs. The shallow bay is protected by a coral reef and is ideal for swimmers, snorkelers and windsurfers. The 30 comfortable cottages offer splendid panoramic views of the bay’s colorful wildlife both above and below the sea. The staff of Sorobon Beach Resort welcomes you to this island paradise.

Our resort is the only one situated directly at the Lagoon at Sorobon. The lagoon is in the south east of Bonaire, bordering the onshore windward side of the island. Because of the constant trade winds, the temperature in the bay is a few degrees lower than in other parts of Bonaire. The resort has a beautiful and lush garden with a variety of plants rarely seen on the island. You can see all kinds of hummingbirds, sea birds and parrots on the premises.
The resort is perfect for the active vacationer who wants to go diving, windsurfing, kayaking, kite surfing or snorkeling. For the guests who are here for relaxation and the sun, we have the most beautiful and private natural beach of Bonaire at their disposal.

Sorobon Beach Resort has 28 one bedroom cottages. In addition we offer a two or three bedroom cottage as well.

All rooms have been grouped in two half circles with a view of Lac and the Caribbean sea. All the cottages are between 15 (50 feet) and 50 meters (175feet) from the water’s edge.

The rooms are modest but well equipped, they all have airconditioned bedrooms with double beds. Closets and storage cupboards are also furnished. Each cottage has a private bathroom and shower. In the living area you will find a comfortable sleeper coach and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen is furnished with all the necessary gadgets you would expect to find in your own kitchen including an automatic coffee maker. The wide terrace is equipped with stools, wooden benches, a table and a hammock. 

Cleaning is provided six times per week. Clean towels are provided and sheets will be changed.
