Hotel Portuense is a family run budget hotel in downtown Lisbon. It has 36 simple private rooms, ranging from single to family rooms. They all have private bathroom, airconditioning, heating, TV, telephone and hairdryers.

The property was renovated in 2009 and is known for its pleasant and cosy atmosphere.

We are located behind the Hard Rock Café, a few mintues walking distance from Restauradores and Rossio square and Avenida Liberdade. We are close to Marquês de Pombal, Alfama, Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto.

The road is replenished with a heavy mix of restaurants. One may endulge in a variety of seafood, meat or even chicken dishes accompanied by some of the best red and green wines. Why not also try the famous Ginjinha? Follow the trail of this important street and you may find yourself watching a famous play at the Coliseu dos Recreios, at the Politeam or at the Teatro D. Maria II. You may also encounter a French Community Chapel, Igreja São Luís dos Franceses.

Refrigerator, water kettle, microwave, oven, iron and ironing board are all available in our kitchen upon request. All rooms have double glazed windows. Please note as well that WiFi is also available and free of charge in our common areas. We inform you that from 01/01/2016 in Lisbon will be charged 1€ regarding City Tax per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights stay. Reception hours: Every day: from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM
