Hotel Pestana Cascais Ocean & Conference

Completely refurbished in March 2003, the Hotel Pestana Cascais is considered one of the most modern and best-equipped 4 star hotels on the Estoril Coast. It is situated on the sea front and enjoys magnificent views over the sea, swimming pools and gardens.

The Hotel is located in the aristocratic quarter of Cascais, a few minutes away from the town centre and close to the Serra de Sintra, which is a World Heritage site, as well as to Lisbon via the A5 motorway. The Pestana Cascais is particularly well situated for the visitor seeking the optimum blend of sophistication, night life, gastronomy, culture, shopping, gambling (in the Estoril Casino), sun and sand, sports (specially golf and water sports), plus beautiful countryside and historic sites. This Cascais hotel is part of an innovative environmental certification project under the aegis of the international organisation 'Green Globe'.

ROOMS
All the rooms and suites were refurbished in March 2003. The Pestana Cascais has 131 standard rooms (an extra bed may be added for 3 persons), 10 superior rooms (all potentially linking with a further room) and 8 suites (bedroom and living room with sofa-bed). Some of the bedrooms and suites have sea and pool views and others have views over the gardens. All the superior rooms have sea views.

All the rooms are equipped with:
Spacious balcony with table and chairs, fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer, air conditioning and central heating, cable TV and radio, direct-dial telephone, fully equipped kitchenette, refrigerator, Internet access, safe deposit box (available for hire)

RESTAURANTS & BARS
Ocean Restaurant: local and Mediterranean specialties with a capacity for up to 120 people. Live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Bar: for a drink or light meal with a capacity for 50 persons and live music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Pool Bar: also offering light meals and with a capacity for 40 to 200 persons.
Room Service: there is a limited room service available.
Facilities for banquets and other events: there are various rooms available for banquets and other special events.

CONFERENCE CENTRE
Offering magnificent panoramic views over the sea, the swimming pools and garden, this is the ideal hotel for all kinds of events, from small gatherings to large conventions. It offers an excellent price/quality ratio and has 6 conference rooms for up to 250 persons. With different breakout rooms each accommodating up to 15 persons, and a supporting Business Centre providing secretarial service, internet access, telephone, fax, photocopier, etc.

The Pestana Hotels & Resorts offers €5 per night for each child (from 3 until 12 years old), valid for food & beverages at the hotel. This offer is valid until 10th September 2012 for stays with 7 or more nights. Up to 1 child sharing the room with 2 adults, (subject to room's maximum occupancy). This value is not refundable, neither can in it be used on other services. The Pestana Cascais Hotel is repairing and renovating the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, due to a rupture that forced us to take this measure, reason why we weren´t able to inform you earlier. We estimate that this intervention will be completed on the 30th of November. For the Pestana Cascais guests, we´re most pleased to offer the swimming pool of Pestana Cidadela Cascais, 4 minutes by car, and also the swimming pool of Pestana Sintra Hotel, 15 minutes by car. For any of these units, we provide the transfers to our guests. Municipal Tax: From April 10, 2017, the tourist tax of EUR 1 per person per night will be charged and charged at the property. This tax does not apply from the 8th night of stay and children 13 and under are exempt. This amount was determined by the local administration. Taxes subject to change without notice.
