The building has been declared to a national monument due to its value as part of Cuba’s heritage. Its beautiful neoclassical facade contrasts with its interior decor, which recreates the atmosphere of the colonial period, featuring beautiful stained-glass windows, colourful mosaics, Spanish heraldic symbols, window grills, and intricately worked ceilings.

Positive The staff is accommodating. Professional. Hotel is full of character. Negative On checking in, I was put in a room at the back of the hotel which was WINDOWLESS. (Not mentioned in description most rooms are windowless!) Also, the shower and the safe did not work. I requested to change the room which was granted. It was slightly bett
