Relax at the Hotel Staribacher, close to Leibnitz in Southern Styria amidst the rolling vineyards. We offer a stylish, family-run, 4-star hotel with 41 rooms and 4 suites, wellness area, seminar rooms and excellent cuisine. Located in the countryside where you can relax and unwind, the hotel is an ideal starting point for an exciting holiday with many activities.
You can visit Graz, the cultural capital of Europe in 2003, or Maribor, Slovenia within a short 30-minute drive. The Graz-Thalerhof airport is only 20 minutes by car.
The 41 luxuriously-designed rooms and suites are spread on 5 floors. All of them face south with a wonderful view of a 4 hectares country park. Relax and revitalize tired muscles in the spacious spa, equipped with an indoor swimming pool, steam bath, sauna, solarium and a wide range of massages.
The award winning à la carte restaurant will delight you with the regional specialties, which you can enjoy in our idyllic outdoor garden dining area.
For the more active guests, there are marked running trails, as well as biking and hiking trails accessible from the hotel. You can also enjoy the shops of Leibnitz or taste the award-winning wine of the South Styrian wine region.
Furthermore, accessible only a few minutes by car is the Seggau Castle, Lake Sulmsee, a wine and pumpkin seed oil museum, the pilgrimage church Frauenberg and the Murstätten golf course. You can visit the well-known wine-producing towns of Gamlitz and Kitzeck within 20 minutes by car.
