Built in 1873, Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo is a magnificent baroque residence transformed into one of Italy's favorite resort hotels. Ideally located across from the Greek Theatre, the hotels hillside location features incomparable panoramic views of the Bay of Naxos and snow-capped Mount Etna, Europe's largest active volcano. The hotel is situated in a 20,000 square meter park, abundant with magnolia, cypress, olive and palm trees, and is also home to the famous literary terrace, a meeting point for many great personalities. Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo is a short walk from all of the sights for which Taormina is famous. A shuttle bus provides guests with access to a private beach a short drive from the hotel. Some rooms are located in the main building while others are located 50 meters away in the Villa Flora annex. All rooms feature both network and wireless high-speed Internet access as well as all of the amenities you would expect in one of Italy's grand hotels.
