However the best asset Hotel Phenicusa has to offer is its restaurant located on the terrace and where the marvelous landscape adds an extra touch to the typical dishes of Filicudi and the Aeolian islands prepared with the freshest fish, with capers and the most delicious vegetables, and washed down with Malvasia delle Lipari and other Doc wines from the Aeolian islands. You must try 'bavette alla filicudara' (ribbon shaped pasta Filicudi-style) and 'orata alla griglia' (grilled sea bass), the scrumptious restaurant's specialties.
Hotel Phenicusa is perfect for those who love the sea and trekking (trails with breathtaking landscapes in the Natural Reserve) and vacations away from mass tourism circuits, among the clearest water which is calm and rife with fish, spectacular jagged coasts, wonderful sea bottom, fascinating caves and canals all waiting to be discovered.
