Positive We paid 60 euros for a double room with balcony and its own private sauna. This included full board, although all meals including breakfast were of institutional quality. Decent-sized pool available all day, spa in the mornings only. Good location among t Negative Mixture of 1930s and Soviet style, rough round the edges. Room very noisy from tv next door. Balconies not private. Food at best mediocre: more like boarding school than spa hotel. Mais c'est presque la Russie.

Positive Pernhaps second best hotel in this area. Quite interesting experience. Price level is quite moderate. Lot of pine trees. Reception personnell was very helpful. Problem to compare this is that I have travelled 50 - 70 days a year in Finland in four st Negative One time and two nights in Narva-Joesuu area is enough. Breakfast was a bit poor. I felt a bit like I would have returned back to old time U.S.S.R. Internet pages give appr. 30 % more positive image from the hotel and the rooms as reality. Anyhow - I
