The small but nice Hotel Forstinger is located at the Unterer Stadtplatz square in the enchanting baroque city of Schärding. The hotel provides luxury, style and warm hospitality, welcoming all those who want to enjoy a home away from home.
The hotel has been run by the Forstinger family since 1927. It reflects dynamic tradition and presents comfortable Austrian style of living. Come to stay here with us and you will be offered luxury, tradition, perfect service, warm hospitality as well as stylish and tasteful interiors.

In the last months the hotel has undergone a series of extension and modernisation works to suit the needs of its guests. It comprises an old building and a new one, which have been renovated with the greatest care, love and taste. Each of our 18 rooms and 4 apartments is furnished in a different way and is truly unique.
The popular Silberzeile (a city area with houses) is right on the doorstep. The Heimathaus and the city museum are around the corner inviting you to explore their cultural treasures. The Inn promenade is a 2-minute walk away.
The Hotel Forstinger has 23 rooms and suites, some with a private roof terrace and a kitchen. Each room has it’s own character and is individually furnished with items of the highest quality.
