Nestled in the unique Mecklenburg lake-land which is situated close-by, the hotel Schloss Basthorst presents itself. The premises, steeped in history, with its manor and the lovingly restored tower house, together with its numerous small annexes, coalesces to a complete composition, representing a living idyll.
A perfect mixture of the historic and the contemporary is evident in all of the 45 rooms and suites. In the main house, one may experience living like nobility – spoiled by our attention to detail.
Exceptionally spacious holiday apartments (60 and 140 sqm) offer highest comfort. All apartments dispose of a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
A rambling range of hills surrounds the land-marked building ensemble – the midpoint at the edge of the small, Mecklenburg town community, Basthorst. The house is complemented by the English park, situated on a 12 hectare protected wetland biotope, gently sloping down toward the banks of the Glambeck lake.
