The hotel was entirely restored in 1998 and owes its name to an ancient elevator from the 19th century, operated with water-power and which is still operating today.

Our 22 hotel rooms offer you the privacy you desire and an excellent and exclusive service. All rooms provide a well equipped bathroom with hair-dryer, direct dial phone, air-condition, mini-bar and satellite TV.

Furthermore our hotel is famous for its panoramic restaurant which serves you the most significant traditional specialties of the region. The restaurant has 120 seats and two adjacent lounges are suitable for conferences and celebrations.

Positive The hotel and surroundings were very good overall and the helpfullness of the staff was excellent. Negative I would like to see an ironing board and iron in the room instead of having to send out (It becomes expensive) also tea & coffee to be availble to make in the room as soom people wake very early in the morning.
