Positive clean premises; breakfast was sufficient Negative Too far from the centre (4.5 km); outdated decor; staff has poor communication skills; would have been helpful to indicate available bus connection on their website; given all of the above, it is perhaps overpriced, considering it is located in a village

3.7 Appealing

Positive Tubingen is an expensive area to visit; the other hotels were more costly. I will be visiting the area again and will probably stay at the Alte Krohn. The breakfast was the same every day, BUT was definitely adequate and nutritionally based. Negative Lots of street noise! Did not expect that in what looked like a neighborhood vs. city center type hotel. Rooms could use some updates: newer beds, bigger tv's.

Positive Staff is very friendly, bed/pillows/blankets are very good quality and comfortable. we had a triple room with 3 single beds, roomy but very simple. Negative bathroom very very small, the shower is so tiny that you can not even turn without touching the wall. overall feeling of the hotel is pretty outdated.
